Follow Your Soul’s Longing – Volunteer with Hospice!
Signature Healthcare at Home is always looking for volunteers in Oregon, Idaho and Washington to provide comfort, support and friendship to our hospice patients.
Compassionate Companions provide routine weekly visits to patients and families.
Spend 2 hours a week reading, writing letters, playing games, holding hands, sitting in sacred silence, etc.
Complimentary Therapy Volunteers provide massage therapy, Reliki, music therapy, pet-assisted therapy, etc.
Internships Available – visit patients, shadow clinicians, attend clinical meetings. For more information on internships and shadowing, please visit our student tab.
What does it mean to be a hospice volunteer?
Hospice volunteers build relationships and form connections. The simple interactions between a volunteer and a patient take on a new meaning, providing joy in the individual’s life.
