Hospice Volunteers – By Your Side

Hospice is about quality of life. Your compassionate and loving presence is all that is required to make a tremendous difference in someone’s life.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. As a hospice volunteer, you are part of a wonderful team of caring people who believe every little thing we do, can and will make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. Our goal is to create a positive experience for our volunteers, patients and the families we support.

two hands overlapped Volunteer opportunities include direct patient/family companionship and support–writing letters, reading books aloud, playing board and card games, playing a musical instrument, sharing a good conversation,  grocery shopping, sitting quietly together, watching a movie together, and more.

Signature Hospice offers a personal letter of reference for volunteers who have  worked with patients for 90 days and could use this service towards employment or school applications.
Signature Hospice invites you to join our volunteer team to support patients and families in your community. Our volunteer training will prepare you to provide the companionship and support so many patients and families need when faced with a terminal illness.
