Bob Thomas, PT - President, Signature ServicesBob Thomas, PT – President

Bob began his career as a physical therapist in 1993 and has held both clinical and leadership positions. He served as regional manager for a national rehab services company from 1996 -1999.  In 1999, he joined the Avamere family and served as the President of Infinity Rehab, the Avamere Family of Companies flagship ancillary company, for 11 years. Currently, he serves as the President of Signature Services where he is responsible for the growth, strategic leadership and cultural development for Signature Hospice, Home Health, Home Care. In addition, he is an active professional contributing to numerous industry publications and journals and lecturing across the country on reimbursement, rehabilitation and leadership in the post-acute care arena.

Bob currently serves on the Executive Council of the School of Business at Pacific University. He has served on the boards of the Section on Geriatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Gerontological Association, and the National Association for Rehab Providers and Agencies. He received his BS in psychology from Eastern University and his MS in physical therapy from Pacific University.

Anjie Berryman, SLP, Vice President of Operations Anjie Berryman, SLP – Vice President of Regional Operations

Anjie is the Vice President of Operations for Washington, Utah, and Idaho. She leads Signature’s effort in her region to enhance the life of every person we serve. Using her deep experience and expertise with geriatric populations, Anjie sets strategic priorities, monitors results and facilitates relationships with key partners.

Prior to joining Signature, Anjie was Senior Director for West Coast Operations for ISC/Brookdale Senior Living, where her responsibilities included West Coast operations,  acquisitions and start-ups.  She also served at Infinity Rehab (also in the Avamere Family of Companies) as Area Rehab Director, Interim Rehab Director and Speech Pathologist.

Prior to this, Anjie served as Area Director of Rehab for Extendicare overseeing Rehab Operations for Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Anjie’s healthcare experience also includes Hospital, SNF and outpatient management. Anjie received her Masters in Speech Pathology from Texas State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from Abilene Christian University.


mary-kofstadMary Kofstad APRN, MSN, FNP-C – Vice President of Clinical Operations

Mary has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years having obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Carroll College and a Master’s Degree with a Post-Master’s certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University. She has a wealth of experience in oncology, acute care program development and pain and palliative care. She is currently the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Signature Services that includes NP2U, Hospice and Home Health. She enjoys family life with her husband and children being active in the great outdoors in Montana.


scott-orlichScott Orlich – Vice President of Sales & Marketing

After a brief career in professional athletics, Scott received his Bachler of Science Degrees in Medical Technology and Microbiology from the University of Montana.  Scott began his professional business career, with a focus on Rehabilitative Medicine, as a Regional Account Manager for Rankin & Associates followed by five successful years as a Regional Sales Manager for the Chattanooga Group, centered on Physical and Occupational Therapy products servicing the Western US and Canada.  Taking advantage of the opportunity to join a growing organization, Scott embarked on a 16-year career with RS Medical.  With a focus on market development and revitalization, Scott developed 6 regions nationally, hired, mentored and trained multiple Presidents Club Members, launched a National Specialty Program based on Minimally Invasive Procedures, managed and developed RS Medical’s National Orthopedic and Fracture Division and, as a Director of Specialty Sales, developed the Company’s VA and DoD sales programs.  Scott drove all Marketing efforts along with Sales Training and Operational Excellence.

Scott’s experiences in Business Development allowed his professional career to continue serving as a General Manager & Market Leader for Apria Healthcare.  With full fiscal responsibilities, Scott re-established Apria as a market leader in Western Washington. With a strong desire to return to a caring, patient focused organization, Scott joined Signature Hospice, Home Health, Home Care. “I want to help improve the quality of people’s lives every single day. Working with my fellow Signature Professionals we strive to achieve just that to the best of our abilities.”  Scott, along with his wife Kathleen, continues to be a sports enthusiast, taking time for golf, travel, cooking, music, and of course, the Seahawks!


jody-carterJody Carter – Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development

Jody holds a BS in Communications from the University of Oregon and is a native Oregonian. Jody has over 15 years of Human Resources experience that she brings to her current role. She holds both PHR and SHRM-CP certification as well as a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Portland State University.

Jody helps Signature team members understand and navigate current HR laws and best practices. She knows that a company can have the best strategy in the world, but if you don’t have the hearts and minds of the people who work for and with you, true success will elude you. HR is about teaching others the importance of connecting with co-workers and helping them to grow and be successful.


Lee-WhitlockLee Whitlock – Director of Recruiting

Lee Whitlock has over 25 years of recruitment and human resources experience spanning a wide-range of industries. Her commitment to superior performance and customer satisfaction has been the cornerstones of every recruitment department she has lead throughout her career.

In the early 2000s, Ms. Whitlock served as the Director of Recruiting for Consonus Healthcare. She oversaw the development of company-wide annual strategic recruitment plans and implemented Applicant Tracking Systems. In 2009, Ms. Whitlock Joined the Avamere Family of Companies as the Director of Recruitment for Infinity Rehab where she managed the post-acute rehabilitation provider’s entire recruitment efforts. She was responsible for thousands of new hires, overseeing budgets in excess of $1Mil, and contributing directly through her steadfast work and dedication to the continued growth and success of the companies.

Ms. Whitlock transitioned over to the Director of Recruiting for Signature Hospice, Home Health, and Home Care in late 2014.
