Bob Thomas, PT - President, Signature ServicesBob Thomas, PT – President

Bob began his career as a physical therapist in 1993 and has held both clinical and leadership positions. He served as regional manager for a national rehab services company from 1996 -1999.  In 1999, he joined the Avamere family and served as the President of Infinity Rehab, the Avamere Family of Companies flagship ancillary company, for 11 years. Currently, he serves as the President of Signature Services where he is responsible for the growth, strategic leadership and cultural development for Signature Hospice, Home Health, Home Care. In addition, he is an active professional contributing to numerous industry publications and journals and lecturing across the country on reimbursement, rehabilitation and leadership in the post-acute care arena.

Bob currently serves on the Executive Council of the School of Business at Pacific University. He has served on the boards of the Section on Geriatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Gerontological Association, and the National Association for Rehab Providers and Agencies. He received his BS in psychology from Eastern University and his MS in physical therapy from Pacific University.

Anjie Berryman, SLP, Vice President of Operations Anjie Berryman, SLP – Vice President of Regional Operations

Anjie is the Vice President of Operations for Washington, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming and she leads Signature’s effort in her region to enhance the life of every person we serve. Using her deep experience and expertise with geriatric populations, Anjie sets strategic priorities, monitors results and facilitates relationships with key partners.

Prior to joining Signature, Anjie was Senior Director for West Coast Operations for ISC/Brookdale Senior Living, where her responsibilities included West Coast operations,  acquisitions and start-ups.  She also served at Infinity Rehab (also in the Avamere Family of Companies) as Area Rehab Director, Interim Rehab Director and Speech Pathologist.

Prior to this, Anjie served as Area Director of Rehab for Extendicare overseeing Rehab Operations for Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Anjie’s healthcare experience also includes Hospital, SNF and outpatient management. Anjie received her Masters in Speech Pathology from Texas State University and her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology from Abilene Christian University.

Timothy Shatzel – Vice President of Regional Operations

Timothy served in the US Coast Guard and was stationed in Coos Bay, OR for a year and a half then Muskegon, MI for the remainder of his time. He drove surf rescue boats and then was part of a drug interdiction team in the Caribbean during the winter. He enjoyed his time and is proud to have served.

Timothy earned a BS in Business Administration from Southern Utah University. During this time, he took a summer job as a delivery driver for a national medical equipment company and the Home Health hook was set. He abandoned his plans at banking and being a stock broker to work in home care, hospice and home health ever since. He has worked for Apria and Gentiva Hospice on the larger side and regional non-profits and a faith-based system as well.

Stacie-WhitesideStacie Whiteside – Director of Systems Integration

Stacie began her career in healthcare in 2003 working for a large Portland hospital-based home health agency. While there, she took on nearly every position – everything from Billing Auditor and Insurance Verification to Office Manager/IT Support and Project Management. She found her niche in project management and as the IT contact, liaison and trainer for the newly implemented healthcare system. After 4 years, she was recruited and contracted by the joint Infusion Company where she implemented a drug distribution database and an Electronic Medical Record system and process.

In 2008, Stacie joined Signature Hospice, Home Health and Home Care to help manage increasing clinical IT needs and project manage the imminent point-of-care implementation. To date, she has directly managed the conversion of six Signature Home Health locations from paper to electronic documentation. Currently, she serves as the Director of Systems Integration and works hand-in-hand with Signature’s operational, clinical and quality teams to help develop process and ensure proper system integration and utilization.
Through learning the role of the post-acute home services business, Stacie has gained an absolute passion and appreciation for the services hospice, home health and homecare provide to the community. Stacie received a BA in English from the University of Oregon.

Lee-WhitlockLee Whitlock – Director of Recruiting

Lee Whitlock has over 25 years of recruitment and human resources experience spanning a wide-range of industries. Her commitment to superior performance and customer satisfaction has been the cornerstones of every recruitment department she has lead throughout her career.

In the early 2000s, Ms. Whitlock served as the Director of Recruiting for Consonus Healthcare. She oversaw the development of company-wide annual strategic recruitment plans and implemented Applicant Tracking Systems. In 2009, Ms. Whitlock Joined the Avamere Family of Companies as the Director of Recruitment for Infinity Rehab where she managed the post-acute rehabilitation provider’s entire recruitment efforts. She was responsible for thousands of new hires, overseeing budgets in excess of $1Mil, and contributing directly through her steadfast work and dedication to the continued growth and success of the companies.

Ms. Whitlock transitioned over to the Director of Recruiting for Signature Hospice, Home Health, and Home Care in late 2014.
